Sparky's New Wheels

I bought a horse trailer last Sunday! It is a 1990 Circle J two-horse straight load, it is in very nice condition, it may need a little clean up work done, but is an all around sweet trailer! The Lord has blessed me once again by providing, He is so amazing!

My New Kids

Both my Nigerian does kidded last week, one on the 25th and the 26th. My four year old doe, Kimber had three does, and my 2 year old doe Annabell has two bucks. They are all so adorable! I will be retaining the doe kid that is almost orange, and the other two are already sold. I will be selling the bucks after I wean them. Look for us at the big show in June:)

My Newest Edition

Well, Annabell, as we call her is my newest edition to my goat "herd". She is a yearling nigerian dwarf doe with a great personality, and really nice conformation. She came wormy and pretty skinny, but other than that I think she is a great investment.

Matt's new best friend

Guess what we got my oldest brother for his birthday??? He is the cutest puppy ever! He is probably going to get huge, he is great Pyrenees with a little bit of lab, and he is super sweet tempered too. Him and Matt are getting along really well.

Fair 2010

Fair was great this year, I took Kimber, and her little wether, along with my meat goat I auctioned off. They all did really good! In fact, Kimber got the "Outstanding Dairy Goat In Show" award! I was so proud of her! My goats and I also got grand champion dairy goat showman and grand champion meat goat showman. We also took first in the master showmanship class. All around this was a pretty good last year of 4-H. I'm kind of bummed this is my last year, but I am pondering becoming a goat judge myself... We'll see.

Father's Day Card

Here is the Fathers's Day card I made for my dad. I also did it to enter the Pink Stamper's contest.

On the inside it says "...when I say that you are best dad ever!"

County Fair 2009

I went to the fair somewhat bummed because my dairy goat Kimber didn't end up being pregnant and freshening, so I assumed she wouldn't do well. I even debated whether to bring her. But she shocked us all with being Grand Champion for her Nigerian class. Then she took Reserved Champion over all the other Champion dairy goats, and she didn't even have an udder!
The judge was very impressed with her. I can't wait until next year!
My boer goats did well also. Bebe got auctioned and took 3rd out of 27. Pollyanna and AnnaMae got a special award that this was the first year it was given. I ended up selling the two does to make room for a new Nigerian. I will miss them. Enjoy Bethany! I just pray that the Lord provides me with the perfect goat!

I also really enjoyed hanging with all my good friends. Thanks Gracie for all your help! You are an awesome person!
