My mom took me for a spin in the car today!

On the way to school today we hit black ice. We slid for quite some distance and spun a couple cookies, hit a mailbox, 4 fence posts, a telephone wire green box, a tree and finally came to a stop right here in this embankment. Pretty cool, huh? Not really! It was very scary. But God protected us. There was a big drop off on the other side of the road that we could have rolled down. I was praying and asking God for protection and he provided it.

There were 7 other cars that ended up in the ditch or stuck in the ice, including the tow truck!

It reminded me of the song "Jesus take the Wheel".

Thank you Lord for keeping us safe and not hurt.

Saving the runt.

We are feeding the runt since he is getting pushed out of the way by the big guys. He was very excited to have his momma all to himself!
Sweet pea was very patient.

What do you get when you cross a lion and a lop? - Hippy Bunny!!

This is the bunny I gave to my friend Linzi for her birthday. Isn't she a crack-up?!? Her mom is a mini lop and her daddy is a lionhead.

I'm seeing spots before my eyes!!

My mini-lop, Sweet Pea had babies. She was 6 days over due so we were very surprised to find this spotted wiggly bundle in her nest box. There are 6 of them.

There are 4 broken black bunnies and 2 broken orange. They were just born in these first two pictures. They are very fat and very healthy.
Here they are at 4 days old. They started having fur at just 1 day old. One of the orange ones is not getting fed as much as the others and appears to be the runt. We will have to help that one out.

Aren't they Fat?!?!
This one looks like a dalmation bunny. I will continue to post pictures as they grow.

A baby lionhead

My sable-point doe, Jasmine gave birth to two kits. One was a peanut and died, but this one is strong and healthy. She is 11 days old today and just starting to open her eyes. Her daddy is Snowball, my REW. She is going to have a double-mane.

Pumpkin - My new Holland Lop

This is my new Holland Lop doe. I got her to breed with Sweet William when they are old enough. I am really hoping to get a broken orange bunny. She is a really sweet rabbit, and cute too!!

My new baby - Sweet William

I got a new rabbit. He is a Holland Lop and his name is Sweet William. I name all of my rabbits after plants. This little guy lives up to his name, he is really sweet. He is six weeks old. He will be my main buck for my soon-to-be Holland Lop herd. I am hoping to get an orange doe to breed him with. Isn't he the cutest rabbit you have ever seen?

My bunny has been drawn by an artist!

5wolfcubs has drawn a picture of Jasmine when she was a baby. It is her picture on the header. Check out her blog and see the picture! 5wolfcubs

This is the really cool water feature that my dad made a few weeks ago.

And these are two really cool frogs that have decided to make my dad's water feature their home. Aren't they cute! I can't believe that they found it so soon. How do you think they got here?

Thanks God for frogs!

My brother did well at the PC Fair!

He was top scoring air rifleman.

He was also top scoring archer.

Check out his grouping!

Good shooting, Mitch!!!

Polk County Fair

Showing my Champion Dairy Goat

My Nigerian Dwarf goat was Champion too.

This is my dairy goat herd. It was champion overall.

Pollyanna, my meat goat champion is shaking the judges hand.

Fair was really fun again this year. My goats showed well. One of my dairy goats got sick and had to go home early, but she is fine now. I learned a lot. I am blessed to be able to have animals and do 4H.

Super Goat!!!

This is Pollyanna - she is my Super Goat.

We entered a costume contest at the fair. I dressed her up as Super Goat because I think she is a super goat, she knows how to shake hands and how to take a bow. She is also very friendly and sweet.

My Lionhead Herd

Snowbell - Doe

Jasmine - Doe

Dan D. Lion - Buck

Blackberry - Doe

Tansy - Doe

This is my lionhead herd. I decided to get lionhead rabbits to breed because they are so very cute! I started off with three (Blackberry, Tansy, and Dan D. Lion). I bought the two does and Paula, who I bought them from blessed me with the buck! Then I added Jasmine. Snowbell was born to Tansy and Dan. As you can tell, I name all my rabbits after plants.

I've got Kids!

New kids, snuggling together
"Are you my mother?"
Rosie's buck - Winchester Tory's buck - Remmington

Rosie's doe - Kimber

On February 15, 2007, we went into the barn and discovered both Rosie and Tory had kids. There were three kids and we had no idea whose were whose. They were very cute, and sweet. After a couple days it became odvious that Rosie had two (1buck and 1 doe) and Tory had 1 (a buck). They are both very good mothers, and take good care of the kids. I spent the night in the barn to make sure they were done having babies.

I have sold the two bucks to a very good home together, and I am keeping the doe through fair. I have not decided if I am going to sell her or not after fair. They were very fun to watch. I am now milking both Rosie and Tory, and they have both gotten a lot friendlier. I am selling the milk, because the rest of my family will not drink it.
