Rosie and Tory

After having Mike and Ike, I really learned to enjoy goats. After much thought and prayer, I decided to breed Nigerian Dwarf goats. I thought I could sell the babies to help support Sparky. God answered my prayers and blessed me with Rosie and Tory. A lady wasn't taking care of them properly so she decided to give them to me! Thanks again God! They are now healthy and happy! :O)

Mike and Ike

Mike and Ike were my very first goats. I got them as a 4H project to auction at fair. They did well. It was sad to say good-bye to them.

How it all got started...

When I was 12, I went to horse camp and fell in love with horses. I wanted one sooo bad! I told my parents about it and my dad said, "I don't think so, I didn't provide anything like that for your brothers, so I can't for you." I decided to take it to the Lord. Shortly after that, I received riding lessons. After those were over, I was able to co-lease a horse. Chris (who leased the horse to me) saw that I was very committed to horses and showed my self responsible, so she started looking for a horse for me to lease full time. An awesome lady named Vicki was willing to trade an Arabian named Sparky for an old beat-up pick-up so I could have a horse to lease. About 4 months later my older brother got in a bad car accident (only lived and totally recovered by prayer and God's grace), I ended up living with Chris and my horse Sparky for 3 weeks while he was in the hospital. Shortly after that Chris decided to give Sparky to me for my birthday!!!!! I was so thrilled. I have to do odd jobs to support him. I have babysat, done yard work, had my own cookie dough business, etc. to earn money and I always come up with enough to take good care of my Sparky. Since I have such a love for animals, I decided to raise goats (and later rabbits) to help pay for his expenses. God has been so good and faithful to meet my love of horses. Thanks also Chris and Vicki, I will never forget what kindness you showed me. Love you guys!

The picture is of me telling someone that Sparky is mine, I was so excited!
